The game is really good. It's got excellent graphics, a simple but compelling story, and an engaging hack'n'slash combat system with straightforward combos and upgrades. This is a console quality game on the phone The only reason it's not a 5/5 is because I ran into an issue when traveling abroad; if the phone is on airplane mode, there is a chance that the game will default to the trial version, meaning you can't play the premium content if you're traveling or don't have a Wi Fi connection

***FINALLY! IT'S BACK! 3 years later, but better late than never *** Impressed! It's as if the developer made this for the sole purpose of showing other devs how to make mobile games. If I had to find one fault, it would be the voice acting which is decent but corny (though typical of this type of game, so no stars lost there). Overall, it's well worth the purchase. [SPOILER ALERT: This is a trial.]

If I had to be critical of this game, the only complaint I would have is the dash button. It can be absolutely wonderful when it works, allowing you to slice and dice side to side; however, it can also be a nightmare when it decides to take a day off during a boss fight or a crowded room. Please either bump the sensitivity of the dash button or make it bigger. This game is absolutely brilliant otherwise. Interesting story, enemies are tough, characters are likeable it's just that dash button.
